Who we are

What we collect, and why

  • Assessment requests: your name, business name, website address, email, and optionally phone, business type, typical project value and ad-spend range. Used to run your Otto Growth Check and reply to you.
  • Attribution data: if you arrived from an ad or campaign link, we record the campaign parameters (UTM tags and click IDs) and referring page alongside your enquiry, so we know which marketing works. This is attached to your enquiry, not used to profile you elsewhere.
  • Direct contact: whatever you choose to include when you email or call.
  • Analytics and advertising data: only if you accept cookies — see the cookie policy. Declining changes nothing about how the site works.

We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not ask for sensitive information.

What we do with it

Assessment details are used to assess the website you gave us and contact you about the results. Submitting the form does not add you to a newsletter or marketing list. If we ever offer a newsletter, it will be separate and opt-in.

How it's handled and stored

Form submissions are delivered over HTTPS to our business systems. We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting engagement, then delete it in the ordinary management of our systems. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Assessing your website

The Otto Growth Check reads publicly available pages of the website you nominate. Nothing is installed, no credentials are requested for the free Growth Check, and nothing on your site is changed.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 (including the Privacy Amendment Act 2025) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you — see our data request page. If information about you is ever collected indirectly, we will notify you as required by IPP3A (in force from 1 May 2026). If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

Changes

If our handling of personal information changes, this page and the date above change with it.
